Vaccine Availability for Active Rice Faculty, Staff and Students

Vaccine Availability for Active Rice Faculty, Staff and Students

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce Rice was notified this morning that we will receive 4,000 first doses of Pfizer vaccine for distribution on campus. We are planning our first clinic for this Thursday, April 1 in Tudor Fieldhouse.

There are 1,250 vaccine slots available at this link for Thursday, April 1. Please choose your appointment time carefully because you will not be able to change it or cancel once it’s scheduled. You will be guaranteed two doses: the first dose on April 1 and the second dose, 21 days later, on April 22. Your appointment for your second dose will be assigned for the same time of day as your first dose and you will not be able to reschedule or cancel it.

On the day of the clinic, you must bring with you a state-issued ID or passport that includes your date of birth. You will also need the QR code you receive when you sign up for the appointment.

If you are not able to sign up for this Thursday, there will be appointments for additional days next week. We will announce next week’s schedule in the coming days.

Volunteers will be needed for this and future clinics. If you would like to help out, please fill out the volunteer interest form at this link.
