COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic - 2nd Dose/Booster - November 4 -  5

Dear colleagues,

We are writing to clarify who is eligible for the vaccination clinics that are scheduled to take place on campus this coming Thursday and Friday, November 4 and 5 in the East Gym. We will be providing second dose and Pfizer booster shots for those that are eligible as defined by the CDC.

All faculty, students, and staff who live and work on campus may be eligible for the booster. Eligibility, as defined by our City of Houston Health Department vaccine partners includes:

For individuals who received a Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine, the following groups are eligible for a booster shot at 6 months or more after their primary vaccine series:

We are working closely with the City of Houston Health Department and have added Moderna boosters and the option to mix-and-match boosters at these clinics. More information from the CDC about the COVID-19 vaccination and booster shots can be found here.

There are approximately 300 vaccine slots per day. To schedule your appointment visit: www.hhdvaccinations.org and create an account. After the screening questions (skip access code request) you will be asked to enter an invite code: RiceU-Dose2Plus then complete the remaining information and consent to register.
