Dear colleagues,
I write with an important update on our mask policy.
Effective today, wearing masks as a precaution against the spread of COVID-19 is no longer required in all classrooms, or anywhere else on campus, indoors or outdoors. However, there is a provision for an exception in classrooms; instructors have the option to require students to wear masks in their classes.
People who are unvaccinated must continue to wear a mask indoors at all times.
Students, faculty, staff, and visitors always have the option to wear masks anywhere on campus at their discretion. We do recommend that you carry a mask with you, and err on the side of caution anytime you’re in a situation where you’re wondering whether you should wear it.
